On a sunny weekend in Vancouver you likely wont be able to drive through the west end, because it will seem like everyone in Vancouver is there.

One of the Oldest parts of Vancouver. Gastown with its, historic steam clock, cobble stone streets, and Gassy Jack. There’s lots of nooks and crannies to explore in Gastown. Gastown is on the edge of vancouvers notorious Downtown Eastside. Its best to be aware of your surroundings.

Maritime Museum
If you like boats the Vancouver Maritime Museum is a great place for photos. They have a tour of the St Roch (an old artict explorer) that is facinating. The doc by the museum holds old boats like in this Photo Album of the Vancouver Maritime Museum.

Nitobe Gardens

Steveston
Steveston is at the mouth of the Fraser river is almost worth living in. Aside from the commute downtown that is. It has lots to offer, the fisheries museum, marshlands, long biking and walking trails, as well as chances to view eagles. Photo Album of Steveston BC.

In Coal Harbour on the edge of Stanley park sits Vancouver’s trade and convention centre. There is a tourist info booth accross the street so if you are looking for things to do it’s a good place to start. If you love architectural photography the new building will not disapoint. Vancouver Olympic Venue
In Richmond on River road you can visit the Vancouver Skating Oval built for the 2010 Olympic Games. They run tours of the facility so you can see the inside. Take a Tour Here.
